What are the benefits?

A group of people working together in the Home4All workshop

Reduces social isolation through group activities

A group of visitors and volunteers sitting together ready to share a meal

Provides purpose for your day

A visitor and volunteer laughing over coffee

Gives respite to partners and carers

The earlier visitors join us, the more that we are able to help them and the greater impact we can have.

How do we work?

Home4All follows the Dutch “green care farm” model, which is small scale intervention in an actual home setting. The normal household activities provide cognitive stimulation and physical exercise in a very natural way and the coffee and meal times provide important social interactions.

We use errorless learning to enable people to regain their autonomy.

Quotation

At Home4All Jan and Marian take time to get to know all of their visitors with Dementia. The care they provide is tailored to bring happiness and purpose into daily life with a disability. As the main full time carer for my husband, knowing that one day a week I get a break is also incredibly important. Ian has a good time, I have a good time, and we are both supported by Home4All

Bella

Professional Cuddler

Our visitors love giving Bella attention and cuddles. She’s always there to greet you on arrival but be warned, when you start throwing the ball you won’t be allowed to stop.

Keith

Visitor

Keith may be in his 80's, but he'll never let that stop him! He loves working with others in the garden or workshop. He even helped to build our awesome new chicken coop out of old trampoline bases!

Gael

Volunteer

Gael is one of our incredible volunteers! She's got a mean creative streak and doesn't mind getting a bit muddy to get some work done.

Smokey, Moon, and Bambi the goats

Smokey, Moon, & Bambi

Nigerian Dwarf Goats

These three bundles of joy are all kids from the same litter. They absolutely love attention and are more like puppies than anything! If you're lucky, one of them may even jump into your lap!
